Do you think the iTouchMidi name was correctly / rightfully rejected by apple ?

Yes, you can consider iTouch as one of their brandnames

Haha, cool. Can't wait.
Hambone suggestion is really appropriate and i welcome him on the thread

really, he was the first person that got iTM to a different forum,
without even knowing or talking to me or even getting into the thread,
kudos for him
Okay, he can stay.
so after this mess,
i have decided to create several products for the iTM suite
the first is iTM MidiLab,
for now it has all the commented iTouchMidi features (except the mcu)
it will be used in the future as easy beta test tool to experiment new stuff or for new ppl to try iTM

all the uis will be available in simple and cheap dedicated apps that you can gather in a dedicated home screen and switch back and forth between them

simple enough, H ?

pls tell me what u think

nonnus
God, it's like a dream come true. The iPhone as a controller WITH wifi and MIDI. If BeatMaker can expedite their MIDI, we're in for a great ride.

you don´t need a router...

it is explained in www.itouchmidi.com

they just need to be wirelessly connected as stated in the requirements from the begining...

but you can just create the connection with the mac built in airport

hope this helps

Yes indeed, the create option is present for 10.4

Curious, but someone mentioned Garageband as being able to work with your app. Does Garageband have MIDI mapping? I didn't think it did. How are they syncing the two?

That was probably me. All I did in GarageBand was use the keyboard in iTM to control an AU synth in GarageBand. It worked fine - couldn't think of any other interesting test for GB, given its somewhat limited capabilities.

iTM is gonna rule Reaktor when we get a screen full of CC sliders/knobs.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around all the things iTM can enable in combination with junXion...

Good times. 8O

Regarding the name, I think ITM (or iTM) alone is fantastic, and as we all know what it REALLY stands for, it's a little 'up yours' to Mr Jobs and his team of legal inbreds!

The different modules could all be preceded by ITM: ITM Mixer, ITM Video, etc.

Then again, the suits at http://www.itm.com/ might bitch, too...
