I've seen the Technical audio specs around for all the Nintendo Portables somewhere.

has anyone heard this thing yet?

im suspicious, but curious - i have to do some sound design for a DS game soon, and considering picking one up just to try some stuff out.

any other good "games" out there that make something like this worth the hundred bucks or whatever?

and any other hacks like the midify for the ds?

( http://createdigitalmusic.com/2008/06/2 ... corn-dogs/ )

are games downloadable...?

audio samples abounds in that video.

yes, there are many good games. it depends on your taste. for non-gamers, there are many of casual games. unique and strange games for artsy gamers. rpgs and action games for hardcore gamers. tough as nails puzzlers for brainy gamers. games run about $20 to $40 new. new region lock so you can play imports no problem.

there are many homebrew apps, some music related, that are available online.

Why anyone would want a virtual MS10 is beyond me.I had a real one once it is the most pathetic sounding thing I have ever heard. Did sell it for a profit though.

One weedy oscillator, no sub oscillator, and the thinnest weakest sounding 12db/oct filter, maybe they were lying and it's 6 db/oct. :?:

Yeah I know what you mean by those specs...

But the one i had was a demonic bass fiend.
I only sold it to get an MS20.
