Really excited about this synth, it's being developed not far from me.

sounds good - i like the way you can test modulations before committing yourself to them.

can it be skinned? the medium greys on dark grays are hard to see on my main monitor.

A long awaited one for a lot of people I guess.

I just wonder wich copy protection they use, if it's not a thing like pace I'll buy it for sure

poking around with it now at work with crappy earbuds. UI looks nice. i'm hearing a ton of aliasing in the sound, need to play with it more to see if i like it's tone or not. biggest bummer for me; i was really hoping this thing could run in full screen mode. i'd think it would be great to run standalone all blown up. anyway, def worth checking out.

Just home, trying it out.

Sounds great.

I love the restrictions for the demo mode, you cannot save presets and Circle will go out of tune after 20 mins :)

The second 'restriction' may not bother everyone.

I just had a look at this and thought the interface is very clear and the sounds are good...

But I see one potential problem: I am slightly colour blind and I found it difficult to distinguish the colour of the dots under the modules. Someone who is serverly colour blind may find it really difficult.

i'm not even colorblind and i have some trouble distinguishing between the orangey red dots and the reddish orange ones. also, the light grey and light gray are a little hard to make out. nice UI but yeah, a bit more contrast please.

Really intuitive synth. I love the fact that it was already designed with touch screens in mind. There's a really nice interview with one of the creators of circle on CDM. Basically, he talks about the ideas, research and philosophy that went into the synth's implementation and the companies motives as well. It's great to see companies actually think about a product they are creating instead of just cramming as many half assed features together that may or may not complement each other...

i like the interface a lot.
looks alone make it great, but it pretty much functions like massive
for some reason i thought i would be able to use an lfo or step sequencer to switch through wave forms.
why hasn't this been done yet with a soft synth?
its seems like such a simple idea
come on synth making people do this already!

With Circle’s high contrast, single pane interface you can see everything at a single glance while performing live on stage.
One man's high-contrast is another man's cant-tell-the-difference.
That's the way she goes.
