Post by hrdvsion » Sun Jun 01, 2008 4:44 am

Where do you get these from?
i'm sure I had them originally with Live but now all I can select is the "core audio"
i'm on a macbook, and using a motu ultralite...
and now that i'm not using asio i get very glitchy sounds...in a bad way...

If you're on OSX you use Core Audio. I'm not even sure you can use ASIO. You might need to play around with your preferences or turn off wireless networking or speed stepping etc to get better performance.

ASIO is an option for older mac os9 or a PC standard which is still the best PC option for low latency.

what is speedstepping?

it just seems no matter what latency i set my ultralite skips around....especially if i have any vst's vsti's or reaktor running....
