This message is somewhat vague - it mainly indicates that the document is corrupt - probably caused by a hard crash, a virus or maybe even if you try to load a newer document in an older program version. If you have such a set, you can send me the file in order to check if it can be repaired. Unfortunately, files and complete filesystems on a computer can become corrupt (even in 2008).

sigh. this just happened to me again. lost another whole song. i have a copy from a few days ago...but pppppplllleeeeeaasssse.
is it me? i use a hard drive for projects. i suspect this is the problem. is it? wish i knew for certain. i don't know if it is live or the way live uses the harddrive.

Is there any way to return the project, can you do it with System Restore.. Same thing happened to me after a quite long time wasted working on a project :/
