Curse the rest of you faggots for allowing this thread to sink so low in the page.
And also the coder, seeing as it's windows only.

Re: A WORKING LFO PLUG-IN!!
Dunno if anyone else has tried it but this is a really good demo of why LFO's should be in Live - and won 2nd place in last years KVR Dev challenge. PC & Mac & Free.
"Hypercyclic is an LFO-driven MIDI arpeggiator, gate effect and step sequencer for mangling MIDI input chords. Two tempo-synced LFOs can be used to modulate various parameters to create interesting rhythmic effects and chord variations. A unique feature is the possiblity to modulate the sequencer step size itself, which is useful for creating glitchy stuttering effects."
PDF guide includes set up for Ableton - no Midiyokes required... http://www.mucoder.net/

ok. props for the developer but really.. why would you want a step sequencer for chords and an arpeggiator when you already have all these already?Nod wrote:Dunno if anyone else has tried it but this is a really good demo of why LFO's should be in Live - and won 2nd place in last years KVR Dev challenge. midi racks. theyre great. really.
Re: A WORKING LFO PLUG-IN!!
Try it Kami - or even just have a quick listen to the demos. You can modulate the seq/arp with the LFO. Anyway it's just yet another tool in the arsenal - and I only posted it to highlight how useful LFO's would be in Live. If midi racks are *that* useful - why did you post an LFO workaround using a third party VSTi and Midiyoke? Good job btw and thanks - having fun with it already...friend_kami wrote:ok. props for the developer but really.. why would you want a step sequencer for chords and an arpeggiator when you already have all these already? midi racks. theyre great. really.

Re: A WORKING LFO PLUG-IN!!
well, basicly because that plugin, although im sure fun as it is with its arp and chord and all that , does things that you can already do with racks, except for the lfo bit. so i figured why use a plugin with unneccessary feature instead of getting plugin which only has the features you need and nothing more?Nod wrote:If midi racks are *that* useful - why did you post an LFO workaround using a third party VSTi and Midiyoke?friend_kami wrote:ok. props for the developer but really.. why would you want a step sequencer for chords and an arpeggiator when you already have all these already? midi racks. theyre great. really.
seems like a clumsy solution to me, and since we have a stupid 128 parameter limit it seems like an even more clumsy solution to me, when you can do most of the things with lives midi plugins already.
but props for posting it
im sure non l6+ users (or non live users even) will be happy.
