Oh yay, a vocoder. Just add an autotune type plugin and the Daft Punk Machine will be fully realized.

I think that's Claes, former president & janitor of Vember Audio, presenting the vocoder, BTW...

Yeah we already got sidechain, now vocoder? Maybe they will release Daft Punk racks and we can just drag it onto our tracks. A side chain rack for the bass drum track and a vocoder rack for the vocal track. And then a Daft Punk mastering rack to smash the whole thing down at the end.

I really was supprised to see that they got a room with ping-pong and stuff. Seems like nice working at the Abesheadquarter.

BTW: He WAS invited to have lunch with them. Guess they were just suprised he showed up with Camera

most software companies I've ever worked at all had a game room with ping pong tables - studies show it relieves stress and promotes better work.

I just emailed Nick at Sonicstate to mention to Noneric(he did the video/interview) on the next Sonictalk podcast that he's created a nice 'little frenzy' here.

I hope they bring it up, because Noneric will respond in English.

No shrine to Neb though, thought there would have been at least a little memorial area. PWNED on the Vocoder though :)

Edit: just look at all the headshots available for the next fun fun friday ;)

Nobody thinks the reception lady is worth mentioning???
My god she's cute!

All I can say is hardware vocoders are much easier to control than software. I almost always use a rack of effects to achieve that sound over the vocoder in Logic, Pluggo vocoder, or the NI one that I have.... all are a PITA IMO.
