Would you recommend anything else for a mac that can do the same stuff or more?

There can be some problems with clicks and pops - I think this is supposed to be more of a problem with unquantised audio. But the cost and the potential outweight (for me) the occasional drawbacks. I have to say though, with some audio I had massive problems problems with popping audio spikes and lock-ups - ie, the level meters in Logic would peak at max and stay there. Don't really know what else is available, apart from some (loads of) reaktor ensembles.

If you spend some time with it you can get it to do some very interesting things.
I mostly feed sounds into it and resample the results. Then you can edit out the best bits.
Similar plugs are Beat Repeat, or SupaTrigga but they all have their strengths and weaknesses.
SupaTrigga is free though:

Yeah, that's a good method. With these random effects plugins you some times get great results and other times complete crap. When I render a track just to give it a mix listen I'll often find the plugin did something great but then realize it most likely won't get reproduced in the final mix because it was random....or worse having something completely awful in the final mix.Spackled Bat wrote:+1beats me wrote:Very cool plugin for the price
