So after waiting 3+ weeks for Ableton to process my educational upgrade to the Live 7 Suite, I've become disgruntled enough that I have decided not to do it.
However, I'm in love with Live, and it is a program that I just can't do without so I'm still upgrading, but I think I'm just going to pay the $119 for just the software upgrade and forget about the EDU discount.
I'm worried that if I do this, knowing Murphy's Law, they will process my Suite order tomorrow on top of my upgrade today. Does anyone know if this is actually going to be an issue? What can I do to protect myself?

Be patient. Now New Year has passed why not call them and see what's happening. You are entitled to the discount and the whole Suite is amazing, you will regret not taking advantage of the EDU offer for the Suite, trust me.

man xxxmorphicxxx , I know exactly how you feel, I sent my edu form for Ableton in before christmas, and was hoping for a response at least b4 the new year, and nothing. Now i'm worried my student ID won't be valid because of the new year, ad they'll use their delay as a way of making me pay full price. I even tried calling which is a stupid idea. The US phone line just rings and rings and then hangsup. I mean can they not take calls, is it too early in the year, they only have one phone line? what is the US office being run out of f*ckin basement.

my wife ordered me the wrong upgrade for xmas
it was really sweet of her to log in and go for it herself to surprise me.
all she knew was that it cost around $300
i guess the suite was miss priced?
so i'v got a 7 sn i can't use
and probably a box in the mail i'll have to mail back
