more or less it was about flat out racism (on the part of the prosecutors and law enforcement)
even after dna cleared daryl he still stayed in prison for a loooong time
even after dna cleared his name and someone else admitted to the crime (daryl was released) the family of the victim still believed he did it -
really it's an amazing movie
my girls a public defender so she had lots to say about the movie and I was like well
for every shady prosecutor out there there's a defense attorney getting some rich dope dealer off (or getting MJ off a kiddie rape charge or oj a murder charge)
she believes judges and prosecutors hold all the power in the legal system I believe money and class are the real power players
but she's right because she's my girl and has a law degree I don't - plus she's hotter than me

Ableton’s engineers are hard
at work developing code that will allow our software to predict the future, but we don’t
anticipate having this available until at least the next major release.
