If anyone on the board has a similar spec macbook pro and reason 4 would they PM me so i can do a comparative test just to check whether I have a general core audio problem, one that is software specific or a hardware issue? 2 tracks and still no actual sound but some faint static. When I tried all 8 tracks my machine bogged down to over 600% and the mouse could barely move! Thank goodness I have an MBP 2.6GHz on the way! I can't wait to redo this test!
