Tried it....blahhh. I was excited about it, but the interface is a mess and the sounds are boring and difficult to modify. A couple of Analogs in a rack with macros assignes and fx is much more tasty IMO.

I have and prefer the moog emulations from Arturia and G Force, which are not based on samples but synth modelling.

Couldn't see the point of samplemoog myself. A virtual analogue is much better.

There is a great free VST called minimogueVA available for download here -> http://glenstegner.com/softsynths.html -

There is also a nice ARP oddesy emulation available from the same site.

Both are PC only as far as I know.

I have messed around with it - the interface pretty much blows. When using a hardware Little Phatty theres all of about 4 knobs to mess around with - this interface has me jumping screens constantly

the gforce minimonsta is the best moog emu i have heard! it has a poly mode and more so it's much more then a mini... with this sound quality I really don't see the point of a sample based emu...
