Live Suite 7.01. Mac Pro Quad @ 3Ghz. OS X 10.4.11. 3 x UAD-1e with all plugs. Novation ReMote 37SL. mLAN2 on Firestation (works great).
Have been using the same template in Live 6.0.10 with no probs. When creating a song/a few tracks in Live 7.01 and saving it, everything is great. But when reopening ANY song, even if its created in Live 6 OR 7, the pops and crackles starts immediately.
I know for sure its the UAD-1 plug Neve 330609 causing all this, and i use it as a Send-effect -on drums, basically. When deleting the Neve the pops/crackles stops, and if i put it back again the crackle and pop-show is on again.
This is a bug -or have i completely missed something very essential here? Have been using Live and UAD-1 for lots of years with no probs with the plugs what so ever.
Cheers;
Jo
BUG! UAD-1 Neve 330609 and Live 7 = crackles!

Firestation really ? I love mine.
I just inherited a Firestation it is still mlan 1
I'm thinking I'll upgrade it to mlan2 using Bootcamp. (Intel quad 2.66 xeon)
The latest mlan tools works for me already. What is the benefit to go to mlan2? Is there a pro/con balance that I should weigh?
I love the preamps on the FIrestation and don't want to lose the functionality(aggregate device with another interface) that I have.
So many people have had issues I wanted to check with you to see if there is anything extra you've had to do to make this work. Perhaps most of what I'm seeing on the internet is from 2002-2004 before the mlan drivers where successful implemented.
Thanks.

Try increasing your latency. UAD -1 plugins are not designed for low latency work.
