VIBRATION!!!

Post by phoenixito » Mon Nov 26, 2007 7:12 pm

Sorry about bothering but i´m new recording...
I´m using TonePort UX2 with a laptop DELL inspiron 1520, 1.66 core 2 duo, 1gb ram , 120gb 5400 rpm....so, the problem is that at the time i recorded one or more tracks then i render them or i continue editing...BUT the things is that i record for example a guitar or bass; if I hold the chord or note i start to hear some kind of vibration...I´ve tried setting the bit, samples, latency..but i cannot fix it...I dont know what could be , because if I use SONAR6 or ADOBE AUDITION the problem doesn´t happen...
so please help me again and sorry... :(

fretbuzz, weak fingers on the guitar, more guitar playing less internet.

Neb, please charge him $3.82, you'll get the usual 10% minus taxes.

Turn the volume down on your Lexmark computer speakers.

...I don´t think that is because of my fingers :) ...because when i render the track and then i listen it with another program or sonar or maybe adobe audition there´s no vibration...

sorry, I took this to mean that you're playing guitar or bass and if you pause your playing and hold a chord, letting the strings ring out, you start to get a buzzing noise. fretbuzz. you look away, lose focus on the fretted fingers, they relax just a little bit and buzz.

:D ...Yeah first of all I though that could be mi fingers or maybe the strings but then i notice the difference in the other program :D ...so now I figured out the problem, now is fixed, it was the WARP...but what is the WARP useful for? how could i apply the WARP?

escaping Klingons?

spend some time with the manual. warp is the cornerstone of Live's uniqueness, the common term is 'elastic audio'. also, there are videos on the site showing the basics: (look for "elastic audio")

there's also a guitar movie, all of these are worth your time.
