I like how when you select an area in arrange view, there are little ticks at the top that show the edges of the selected region. Subtle, but nice.
Yeah, compressor and EQ8 sound cleaner to me somehow too.
Of course, drum racks and bezier-curves are rocking my socks these days...it's gonna suck if there's much delay between beta and full release!

1) the new compressor settings in compressor II, such as 1976, deesser, cotton, acoustic, brickwall, kick reducer, cotton wall, mildly aggressive, flattenator, gentle squeeze etc.
some good presets that can be easily tweaked for your project.
2) The spectograph is a cool orange colour in default skin. The klinikal skin, as much as I love those black klinikal skins, turns the spectograph to white

Sampler and (especially) Operator really do sound better in Live 7. I'm sure that's not just a placebo effect
