Especially for export. The reason I don't use Live for more production work is that it doesn't have a good enough (offline) timestretching algorithm. And since some of my tracks vary gradually in tempo, I can't simply take the audio into an external editor and timestretch it there. So I HAVE to use Cubase (or similar).

didn't know about this until now, but i've been very aware of the reduction in sound quality when stretching. either this or some kind of offline stretch option would be greatly appreciated.

absolutely deserving of a big massive and NECESSARY BUMP ---

we're still living with a decent time-stretching algorithm several years past it's prime

please treat us customers with a little respect -- this is supposed to be one of Live's main selling points (and i just listened to an album 20 yrs old that has better sounding sample-stretching - no doubt an old Akai)

peace
