Bummer... I am looking forward to getting my mitts on what you've put together - good luck getting things back in order!

nice work tom! and gorgeous website design btw.

the tune reminds of eat static means trentemoller, which is meant as a compliment of course!

i'd be interested to hear how the original sounds came about? for instance the drum clips are complete audio clips, but did they start out as midi impulse clips or was the track originally written in a different tool and bounced out as wavs?

Holey Moley, in the two weeks I have had this up it has received over seven thousand downloads from all over the globe...

I will be putting another couple of these up shortly! (as soon as I pay my bandwidth bill har har har)

-Tom

*edit*

ok upon further inspection it seems that around half of these "downloads" were partial downloads and never completed by the user, still 3500 blows me away however.

actually, i was one of those downloads. i thought it was a complete download, but maybe not. when i tried to open the live set, everything worked fine except that there were 9 files that came up as corrupt. they just happened to be the all the samples plus a few others, so i was unable to play around with the track.
the videos however, were inspirational, so monster thanks for those!

I'm dead keen to hear any remixes or strangeness people have done with this set.. I've had a couple sent to me so far but I am sure there is more out there.

Each remix/tune I receive I will put on my website so everyone can have a listen to what spawned from this!

Please use something like megaupload or yousendit to get it to me using my email tom at cosm dot co.nz

this is really cool... downloading now.

EDIT: wait! No I wasn't downloading it. I was downloading your latest demo (which is really bloody killer by the way)

where is the live pack? I can't find it anywhere.

another edit: never mind. got it. expect a remix from me!

thanks again tom. awesome stuff.

First of all, got to say i love the tune, really great groove and warm sound and nice production touches.
Now, i'm going to play with the set and see if anything comes out.

Thanks, Tom.

Awesome - thanks for this - hopefully it'll give me the kick up the arse I need to spend some quality time with Live!

OT - did you write a tune a few years ago called Abmiram or something like? That was a lovely tune :)

heheh yeah man, Abmiram (marimba backwards, creative huh). That was years ago when i was a spotty drum n bass loving teenager with fruityloops... love to hear a copy but I sure as hell don't have one.
