"Drop Files and Devices here"> loaded Session
"Drop Files and Devices here"> loaded Session
when Session has reached the amount of tracks, and therefore shows the scrollbar,
the "Drop Files and Devices here" area has fully disappeared..
When you now want to drag in a new device from the browser to create a new track,
you have to drop it on the 5 pixel width seperator line that seperates the last track from the Send A track..
highly annoying..
so please make it so that the "Drop Files and Devices here" area never disappears..
thanks..

ok, now i've had enough;
try to copy/drag a track after the last track;
CANNOT DO THAT!?
only if you drag it with your mouse OVER the track title area?
which took me at least 50 tries to find that out..
please for the next bugfix, not L7..
was Live 5 also behaving like this?
can't remember this pain..

Its not a major issue for me but i agree with the original wish.
I see that tracks "after the last track" (ie. the return tracks if i follow so far) cannot be moved around or copied, duplicated etc. but I tried your solution and couldn't get it to work.
In arrangment and session i tried dragging a return track by its title bar and dropping it on the title bar of another return track. Is this what u mean?
If i want to record the output of a return track i just set up an audio track with its input set to the output of the return, arm it and record.
If u have another way I'd LOVE to know, even if it doesn't work right now
Not sure i follow you Poster.Poster wrote:try to copy/drag a track after the last track;

Also didn't understand this but would love to. I must be slow todayannihilator.1 wrote:and i swear that return tracks could be reordered by drag and drop.

you can only drop it there if you first move it OVER the last track's titlebar..
I mean this when Session is totally filled and the last track is not visible..
Now that I know you have to drag it over the track's title (so that Session will scroll to the last track)
it's not a big deal for me anymore..
But this behaviour is totally un-intuitive..

If the Return tracks are visible, you can drop the clip 'on the return track', so that it will create a new track to the right of the last track.

For that one: drag the track to move/copy to the header of the last track (it also works for the last track, CTRL drag it to itself): it will move/copy the desired track to the right of the last track.

But this does not work when you drag in new instruments..Amaury wrote:Hi,Poster wrote:when Session has reached the amount of tracks, and therefore shows the scrollbar,
