Bugfix update 6.0.7 online
Re: Oh dear
copy and pasting VERY slow again
(even on a full spec intel mac)
as well as moving clips, duplicating clips
a small thing I know, but odd nevertheless
and the faderfox support? a quip, or is that true?
so much hardware, vst software and 3rd party instruments have fallen into obsolescence with Live6
same problem ...
ableton, let us download the 6.0.5 again!

Here is the change-log with respect to 6.0.5.
Best regards, Friedemann
============================================================
Improvements:
MIDI Controller surface support for Tascam's FireOne
3.2 GHz Windows XP, Live 7, Reason 4, FL Studio 7, Stylus RMX, Sytrus, Toxic III, Novation X-Station 49, Akai MPD24, EMu XK6, Roland MC-303, Gemini BPM5000 Mixer, MBox
Bug with 6.0.7?
Odd, i only just now installed the update to 6.0.7 (from 6.0.2) and now two of my audio tracks (vocal tracks I recorded into and the only audio tracks routed to Sends Only) lose sound at certain times, usually together. They still show signal coming out, but no sound; I have to click their respective speaker off and on again to get them to sound. This only started happening with 6.0.7. Anyone encounter such a thing? Btw, I'm running a Powerbook using 10.4.9.
me too!jngpng wrote:No fair. I got excited for a second then :(
that wasn't fair at all!
damn, it's about the ONLY controller specifically made for live and they still haven't made it a control surface!?!?!
I'm not getting this!
I have the Faderfox LX2... would be perfect for this kinda stuff!

6.02? wasn't that a beta?bosco wrote:Odd, i only just now installed the update to 6.0.7 (from 6.0.2) and now two of my audio tracks (vocal tracks I recorded into and the only audio tracks routed to Sends Only) lose sound at certain times, usually together. The whole point of a universal binary is that it works on both ppc and intelsmonstrejumo wrote:Leonard:
are you sure of your config? MACINTELs macs can only run live 6 (I am pretty sure of this...) so perhap's ppc's macs can't run live 6 (universal binary for macintels) ???...
I'm running live 6 on my dual g5 just fine.

@monstrejumo: live six, and five was working perfectly (in the sense that any computer can), before. but i recently had some terrible issues with 10.4.9, so went right back to 10.4.8, reinstalled the whole thing, then went to open live to test some flacs but couldn't open live. as a matter of fact, i'll try some things like trashing prefs, fixing permissions and check back. i've mailed the abes@abetown but no response, as of yet. doesn't matter really though, but i'd like the software i paid for to work, naturally.

seems strange kind of problem... good luck!
little question about 6.0.7.:
Abe's support tell me to upgrade to 6.0.7 (i'm on 6.0.5) after I contated them about a problem specifically met in conjunction with live 6 + virus TI analog audio inputs recording (problem that seems to be encountered by other live 6 virus Ti users)
My question is:
-some of you encountered problems with upgrade 6.0.7. (slow copy/paste, crashes, ... ...)
-the change log mentions NOTHING about virus Ti nor audio recording
Could that be really useful to upgrade? I don't want to mess all my set just to try if BY CHANCE this upgrade could be better, related to this un-listed bug?
Do the abes ask me to upgrade just to fill something looking like an answer to my problem?
thanks everyone
live 6, virus Ti, macbook 2, faderfox lv2...

this is still not working, after fixing prefs (i.e. deleting), trashing all existing live install folders, fixing/repairing disks (no repairs necessary but a few permissions differ on some disks), even trying to install/run from original 5.2 install disc. nada. off the disk it just bounces forever, atleast if i run it off my hard disk it has the courtesy of dying after a few seconds. still no answer from the abes after email number 2 fired off yesterday......i dont want to have to go through the trouble of reinstalling the system again..
