problems with osx 10.4.8 fw audio ? try this...

What problems do you guys have with 10.4.8?
Because i use 10.4.8 on a macbook pro coreduo 2Ghz with a presonus firebox card,and i don't have any problems.

There are people using hardware with proprietary drivers (e.g. MOTU, RME, Metric Halo) that are getting wonderful results without any of these issues.

Just FYI...it's not an issue with FW on the Mac, per se.

i though motu and the others where having no prbob until i checked unicornation and found a lot of motu users complaining aswell, i was almost sending my audifire4 for a ultralite until i saw that....

DJ Vakis: some different issues have been reported,
i was experiencieng random sound shutdown on one channel, after further analysis i found the sound from channel1 would jump to channel 3...
some other people reporting probs with midi
