Wah Wah Guitar Effect in Ableton?
Hi,
Is there a way to emulate a guitar wah effect using audio effects in Abelton?
This'd be pretty cool.

Tone Deft,
Despite our rocky start, you always answer all my questions.
You are a gentleman and a scholar and I rescind my previous negative comments.

Thanks, you're cool by me too, I honestly don't remember any previous encounters. I really try not to keep track of who ticked me off in the past and I try not to let my obnoxious, cocky, poor writing make me feel like a heel too often. That's why I dug M Breq's quote in my .sig.

A real wah is dirty and has a limited range. Put a saturator on 70% wet-dry before the filter, and a dynamic tube after. Set them as clean/dirty as you like.
Then when you assign the freq sweep of the filter to an XY-pad/knob/pedal/whatever, limit the range of the control to 500 Hz-2 kHz or even less in the Mapping Browser.
