I feel somewhat sentimentally obligated to answer this question as it was probably the first or second post I put up on this forum when I started using Live.

The F11 key will toggle the full screen view for you.

if you're on a mac and using f11 for expose you need to press the little tiny arrow in the bottom right hand corner of the live full screen window.

on PC, you can press alt + d and the "datei (german word) menu" opens, and
you remain in full screen mode. You can use the arrow keys to navigate through the menu. Don t know if it works on mac, but try pressing alt + the first
character of the menu you want to acess. If it s specially for rendering,
strg (ctrl) + shift + r takes you directly to the render box.
