seen dj shadow in august, he is an inivator to no end. after seeing him on the "scratch" dvd (great compolation of hip-hop legends) id bought the endtroducing album and was amazed at how someone could try something so different but id got used to this style. i then bought another album, think it was pre-emtive strike and was like.... wow trying something new again... love it. not got any of krush's music, is it true he has a murky background with the yakuza?

As primarily a guitarist, it would be Joe Walsh, Stephen Stills, Neil Young, Pete Townsend.

In the keyboard realm, I liked the prog stuff with a pop edge....Collins era Genesis and Asia.

Also really like Jan Hammer's stuff in the Miami Vice era.
