Latest Live 6 bug fix update available: Live 6.0.3!
Hi folks,
we just released the latest bug fix update for Live 6, called Live 6.0.3.
You can download Live 6.0.3 via the "Check for Updates" help menu command from within Live
or from our website: http://www.ableton.com/latest_versions
A BIG thanks to all of you who did participate in the 6.0.2 beta phase.
Note: If you joined the 6.0.2 beta phase, please keep in mind that the final
Live 6.0.3 version copies the preferences from the latest final Live version
you have installed, not from a beta version.
You might wonder why this version is called 6.0.3 instead of 6.0.2.
The simple reason is that we released Live 6.0.2 some weeks ago for our
OEM partners, mainly to address a limitation bug when Live is running as
Lite versions.

The Ableton Team wishes you all merry Christmas, happy holidays and a great year 2007!
Kind Regards
/Alex

Hi Poster,Poster wrote:not sure if this is normal behaviour but 6.0.3 rebuilds a new library in

though my library for 6.0.1 is located somewhere else..
Did it rebuild a full new Library in the default location? Are you sure that 6.0.1 was actually refering to the Library in your custom location?
Yes, only files saved in 6.0.3 and upwards will benefit the 'deferred' loading. 6.0.3 should update many of the presets on the first opening though. Try opening the Grand Piano if you own the EIC, and you should already see the deferred loading.longjohns wrote:Am I correct in understanding that in order to take advantage of the new progressive loading scheme for large presets, that I'd need to re-save the patch in 6.0.3??
What exactly is the issue? Could you then restart Live? If not, try erasing the Preferences and restarting.dmacintyre wrote:
Whoops! Should've waited to use it. Midi server is crashed in OSX 10.4.8 PPC when I open Live. And I've deleted the 6.01. Doh!
Kind regards,

My 6.01 prefs were also present. Deleting these and leaving the 6.03 ones resolved the problem immediately.Amaury wrote:What exactly is the issue? Could you then restart Live? If not, try erasing the Preferences and restarting.dmacintyre wrote:
