i think the original diagrams are really useful and i thank you for doing the work and posting

i must say i don't think the new 'interpretations' make that much sense.

i kind of feel like i "get" them unless i try to think about what they're actually representing

am i just dum

Yup.
15" PB 2.5 Ghz, 4 Gig RAM, 750 GB HD, Live 9 still no cue points or program change messages?!?. Doesn't do shit.

Damn... I remember watching The Great Kabuki on TV when growing up in S Fla!

The crossfader curves look useful. It's one of the very few Live 6 features I could actually use.
