Crossfade between scenes

Post by carson » Mon Aug 07, 2006 1:03 pm

Is there a way to crossfade automatically between scenes, with predefined fade times and curve shapes? Would be a nice feature. Attack and release envelopes defined for each scene should do the trick, no?

Release envelopes on clips would also be nice.

Am I the only one who wants clips or scenes to (cross)fade from the point where I stop them, so that they don't actually stop until the release envelope is finished?

Thanks Ableton for a great program! I have been with you since 1.0, and was pleasantly surprised that you guys actually listened to my request for one-shot clips. Still waiting for the possibility to loop without warping, tho :-)

I second that request!
I'd really like to be able to :
a. loop without stretching
b. loop any portion of a clip, not being forced to a length in bars:beats!

not in live 6 it seems :(

i'm desperately searching right now for a way to crossfade certain clips between scenes. this would be perfect for playback of sound in theatrical performances...
i still can't believe there's not a way to do this....searching.. i have a theatre
piece i want to use Live on next week!

is this a grim situation????
