I can get Live to receive messages so I can use Live's simpler/impulse but I can't get it to play the Juno's sounds. Here's the setup
Roland Alpha Juno - OUT - to Audiophile 2496 - IN
Audiophile 2496 - OUT - to Roland Alpha Juno - IN
Juno's setup: MIDI OMNI - OFF
MIDI LOCAL - OFF
AUDIO out to MIXER's channel
Live's I/O midi setup: (i think this maybe where I'm getting confused)
MIDI FROM: Audiophile 2496, channel 1
I've tried different configurations but with no luck. When I turn MIDI LOCAL OFF on the Juno I can play the Juno's sound in unison with Live's sounds but when playing back a recorded clip, I only here Live's sounds (not that I want them to play in unison)??
I know this is probably basic Midi, but I can't work it out. I also couldn't find a specific thread about it.
