Assign a BCR knob to the circled parameter:

That knob will now scroll through scenes.

If you want to use buttons to scroll up and down through scenes, assign MIDI buttons or ASCII keystrokes to the up and down arrows.

Use both techniques if you want! :D

assign it to the Scene Select (numbered box on the right) that appears under the stop clips for the scenes when you switch to MIDI map mode.

The Info View is handy to have on to get the names of things when you mouseover them.

Erm...the storm woke me up! We had a brief thunderstorm and some rain about 1/2 an hour ago.
Back to the swelter now though! :D :D

We had one over here too. One of the nastiest thunderstorms i've ever experienced.
Seriously, that was some tropical grade shit

OT... I know...

I miss Texas thunderstorms! They leave a clean, fresh feeling behind, especially when it's dry and dusty beforehand. Lightning is especially entertaining to watch from a distance, with a beer or two and tunes. Fun until my living room started filling up with water one day... :?

How 'bout them BCRs, tho! :D

anybody talk me through setting up the encoder group keys (or any other of the keys for that matter) to switch between toggle mode (on/off) and button trigger mode? the manual seems a bit cryptic so any help would be rather useful.. i'd like to Encoder group A to be toggle mode, and Encoder group B to be Trigger mode..

Press and hold edit + the button/knob you want to edit.
You can change the mode with the 6th or 7th encoder on the bcr.
Change it and hit Store twice to save your change.

How do you setup the quantized crossfades?

Set the low and high limits on the controller to the same value. That way when you hit the button, it sends the value of say, 48 and only 48, so the x-fader will jump to that value.

The BCR buttons are set up to launch a CC value or curve. That same CC value is assigned to the crossfader. For example, firing a CC clip with a value of 64 centers the crossfader. Drawing a curve from 0 to 127 over the required number of beats/measures does a smooth crossfade from A to B. If the clip is quantized, the crossfade will be quantized, too.

Is there anyway to make BCR templates to Operator etc.?
In logic it's easy to make templates to like EXS just giving the right cc's to BCR, but in live i cannot find the cc numbers of live instruments and they don't send any parameter to BCR when in learn mode. Yes, it's easy to learn buttons in live, but i don't want do it everytime i open new operator.
