moving there in august from virginia, and definitely wanna meet with like-minded ableton users in SF--is there any sort of ableton user group there, or interest in starting one?

RobotSpeak held a Live users group meeting about a year ago, where a rep from ableton gave a (really good) presentation and then did q&a. I learned a lot that night. Just a one-time thing though, as far as I know.

I'd definitely be interested in a regular (monthly?) users group meeting, and it's hard to imagine there aren't tons of other Live users in the area who would show up.

Anyone else interested? If so post here and let's try to get something going.

Anyone in the Bay Area on July 26th do check out my band Sweet Trip @ the Rickshaw Stop. We'll be playing some tunes that will feature Live.

Should be fun, and I heard it's a nice club too!

Count me in! Once I get a laptop. I sold mine when I started this new job and gave me a new one. And laid off me off!

If there are Live jams going on I'll pick up a new laptop.

count me in for any get-togethers as well, although i'm very much a beginner, and would just be there mainly to listen, discuss and ask questions and drink some beers (i.e. not perform).
