i haven't seen this ASIO panel that you speak of, just the general audio setup panel for the card, is that what you are refering to?err_fatale wrote:check your ASIO configuration and make sure you open the ASIO panel and have MOTU "main outs" box "checked" as an output...
yeah i was having fun until the crackle, then I'm like "zero latency" with a free bitcrusher effect on every sound!!!! Great. What a bargain. I don't remember reading about the free bitcrusher effect on the website....
guess they just threw that in as a surprise bonus!!!!

Scottfro.....I know what you're talking about, you haven't got your ASIO set up. You returned a perfectly good box......
go to
Options>Preferences>Audio Device:
select asio
go to the "hardware SETUP" page"
and let your computer run the diagnostics" test if it prompts (it might not)
and there should be an "advanced" option or something like that, SETUP maybe.....
in there u have to X the box next to MOTU main outs, thus making them active, move them up to the top.....

Hey scottfro,
Let's make sure you are selecting the right driver first:
1. Go to Option/Preferences
2. Choose ASIO as Driver Type
3. Choose MOTU Audio as Audio Device
4. Click on Output Config and highlight all output pairs (i.e. 1/2, 3/4 and etc...)
5. Turn ON the Test Tone option to verify all outputs are working properly (watch front panel of the UltraLite to see meter activity).
Once you are done with that:
Which output pair are you using to feed your speakers?
Assuming you are using Main Outs to feed your speakers, if you are assigning track(s) to Outputs 1-2 (Phones 1-2 on the UltraLite) in Live, you will not hear anything out of the Main Outs. Because the Main Outs on the UltraLite is a discrete output pair, meaning it does not mirror any other output pairs.
Try assigning track(s) to the Main Outs (outputs 11-12 in Live).
