Guys we gotta get something goin in Dublin again some time. I missed Kaizens thing but he tells me it went very well.

Im not sure how would be best to do it, I mean, just go to a pub and have a drink, or to rent some room and fuck around together for a couple of hours.

What are the thoughts on this?

How are people fixed for mid February?

Now there's a name I recognise how's the form Dan?

I'm Emlyn from Clondalkin, using ableton about 6 months now. Gave up on my 1210's and started using ableton alone. Into breaks, tech house, electro...... whatever really i'm not too fussy.

Ok folks, what do we need? A pub with an amp?

If anyone has any suggestions Id be interested in talking about it, see if we can get something arranged.

What would we do? Share a few tips? It would be nice to get an expert in.

Are you guys more DJ or production orientated?
Im a bit of both.

Lads, Kaizen is gonna try to sort out Bernard Shaw for the afternoon.

It would be nice to have a dozen or 2 people for this.

Suggestions for how to plan out the afternoon are welcome.

Ill be bringing a few CDs of goodies [royalty free loops of course  ] to give to a few people, if anyone else does something like this, it could be kool.

An old friend of mine, Stephen Shannon, is a DJ/Producer/Live expert, Ill see if I can get him to come along.

Looks like it might be better off postponed until later in March/April.
What do you think Kaizen?

Anyone here interested in this?

Hi all, I would love to go and see, being using ableton for 6 months, mainly warping vinyl for use on traktor, I know!!!!!

Though I would love to see and meet users and Kaizen when will you be doing another showcase in town? I think I came accross you on the EP forum..

Anyways, I'll be keeping a look out here....

Cheers..

Hello, I used to live in Dublin up until a couple of years ago, now based in Barcelona. And it's actually raining here for the first time in ages as I write.

Anyway, I've owned a copy of Live since version 3, but didn't have much use for it until recently. To be honest the only gigs I've done have been completely pre-arranged, which led me to develope a live box in Reaktor, which I've now sort of scrapped in favour of Live 6. I make noisey dancefloor electronica, have stuff on Touchin' Bass, Spacebar Sentiments, Takeover Records, and a couple of remixes coming soon on Kontakte Records in Spain and maybe on Digital Distortions. Anyone who's interested can hear a "live" set I did over last year's Sonar here (using live 3):

don't worry the first few seconds is a piss take.

Haven't played any gigs in Dublin, though I'm back there often enough...
