MBM Wild - Angstrom remix

BTW: a tip, just drag that link onto your mp3 player and it will stream - so you dont have to download it. :)
A nice one, congrats.

Update 6/7/06
It was a tough competition, but Thirsty Ear Recordings, Jack Dangers and Ableton would like to extend their congratulations to Lars Korb (aka the Bugbreeder) with his "Loose Interpretation." His winning entry will be posted as a digital release on Thirsty Ear Recordings' site (link to be posted soon...). In addition, Lars will receive a selection of CDs, T-shirts, and calendars from Thirsty Ear Recordings, as well as an Ableton hooded sweatshirt and laptop bag. Stay tuned to Thirstyear.com for the tune and more information.

Honorable mention goes to the runners up:

2nd Place: David Martindale
3rd Place: Beau Tardy with "Jazzy Burn's Wild"

Thanks to everyone who participated, and stay tuned for more remix contests coming soon!
The Abletons.

thanks jesse!

thing that bothers me is I never did get a confirmation email that they even got it, and I did it as an upload because my email couldnt handle the large file and they never did confirm that was ok...so to this day I dont even know if they heard it! 8O

d'oh!

never mind, I actually played it out and got a few people asking me for a copy so that's good!

exactly my situation.

please Jesse, for the next competition you should set up a fileupload system that mails back a confirmation. They aren't that hard.
I'm sure a lot of people went to the trouble of making an entry to be stuck in the limbo of wondering "did that ever reach anyone?"

that was the reason I posted a link to mine here, I was so confident it never reached MBM

anyway - enough griping!

congrats to the winner and the runners up, I look forward to hearing the tracks.

Yes, a file response system would be good, but Ableton doesn't run the contests or accept the files, we just try to connect our users with artists/labels who want to run remix contests, so there is little we can do here unfortunately.
Thanks for participating,
Jesse

I'm still happy with how mine turned out.
