No...and yes.

You can chop beats all you want in Arrangement view, but you have do by hand. And you can use Impulse as a rather basic beat slice player.

Buit Live doesn't have a dedicated slicer.

But spending a couple of minutes with the manual would have told you that.

use autopan for chopperfx, this chops realtime but doesnt slice

I bought a Nirve Switchblade 3speed recently and it works like a charm!
Musical choppers can be done in live or very live by autopan.

Okay I got the chopper, now how can i play each individual slice on my keyboard?

I *think* you are talking about a Beat Slicer. See my post above if that is the case.

What people have been referring you to are rythmic gate type effects. That is something very different.

It might help if you could elaborate on what you are trying to achieve.
