simpler preset "piano"

Post by smog g » Mon Jan 16, 2006 10:56 pm

could someone please share a simpler preset, whichs key-velocity to cutoff frequency comes very close to the behavior of a piano?
or just type the settings into the field that appears when you press "post repilie".
thank you

i dont want to play a piano!
i want to play any sample i drop in the simpler, like a piano.
that means lower key velocity leads to lower volume and less high frequencies (filter cutoff).
with piano behavior i mean what i allready wrote lower key velo means lower volume and deeper filter cutoff frequency.

Then you are going to want multisamples of whatever it is you want to play in that range.

What you're asking for is actually to have the amplitude of the sound controlled by velocity, as well as the filter frequency controlled by velocity, riight ??
That's all included in simpler !

You got the technique - now try it! How could we possibly know what numbers sound good to your ears.
