USB Souncard For OSX Powerbook

Post by Funkstar De Luxe » Sat Nov 19, 2005 9:44 pm

Hi,

my buddy needs a usb soundcard for his powerbook. It's gotta have at least 4 out put (one stereo mix and one for queue). Not looking for hi end stuff - it'll just be getting dragged around the clubs. So cheap, usb, OSX, 4 channel sound card.

I looked, but osx support is bloody aweful. Hope some one here can help me out. Thanks!

Tony

i used to have one of them emagic doodads. i was having a conversation recently with a dub producer from the states and we concured that the emagic unit has some of the best outputs for any soundcard in its class.

Care to read the title of the post again, John? :)

Tony,

Edirol UA-101 seems to have plenty of outputs. Only USB 1.1 on the Mac (not 2.0), based on their product info. Haven't used one mysef, though.
