permanent hdd oveloads with just one sample ??

i cannot get this one solved. i mean from like about 2 weeks ableton behaves really weird. i mean even if i have just one sample playing the hdd overload indicator flashes everytime the sample starts, and it cuts a bit of the sample off. like one half-second mute.

what could be the problem ? please help me !!

Ableton confirmed a problem with Impulse not loading all of a sample into RAM some months ago, which is what's causing the disk overload. This was some while back in the 5.0.2 betas so I'm really surprised it hasn't been fixed in the final release. I suggest you keep on badgering them about it.
