Namihei

Big up, you've done a great thing.

Thank you. I look at my BCR in a whole new light now.

by the way

by the way you can get presets here:

http://www.dreampoint.co.uk/b-control/library.htm

(further down the page) that will allow you to save other presets (like the mackie control) even when the store button is used for other stuff.

...just FYI...

Just to let you guys know:
this emulation also works in Cubase SX 2+3 flawlessly (except for the missing functions of course :( ). However,
it would be really nice if we could find a way to call/load plugins+VSTi's and tweak them, like with the real thing.

Namihei: do you have the MIDI implementaion chart for the MCU? Or the MC protocol? Could you please have a look at this forum here and take part in this discussion maybe?
Searching for some ways to further refine your great template.

Many, many thanks for your efforts and your generous offer. ;)
Best regards

Raphael

Thank you for everybody.

I have most MIDI implementaion chart.
It has already succeeded to work in Logic.
(sorry,I am not a Cubase user)

The big problem is that the button of BCR is few.
At least two or three preset is necessary.

and no LCD feedback.
This is also important.
Behringer should make BCFview work with BCR.

Please wait for a moment though it is not so practicable.
(It is the most difficult for me to make the manual)

Mac OS X users may wish to check out LC Xview for an onscreen LC/MC display emulation, or LC Xmu 2.0 for more flexible multi-app LC/MC emulation using a single BCR preset. See my signature.

Perhaps, it is worth paying 40 Euro to LC Xmu 2.0.
Isn't there plan for Windows?

Depending on whether you need LC Xmu's extended host/controller-management features, support for other controllers, etc.

Or just $20 for LC Xview, the virtual MC screen. Your emulation is reasonably effective, should work with LC Xview. Shame about Behringer's irritating LED implementation, huh?

It's possible, but I need to assess the likely demand. There would be considerable upfront time and money costs for me to port, document and release a Windows version, and then I'd have to support it, and it would possibly get pirated like crazy anyway, so I am somewhat reluctant. No promises.

It made it referring to here.

I don't know whether to work well.

Hey Namihei,
thanks a lot for your attempt at an Cubase template. Much appreciated.
I'll download now and see if my friend will be at home later this afternoon to test it.

Regards
Raphael

I hope a lot of people see it, and someone in that makes the software like BCFview(or LC Xview for windows).

I'd actually be interested in developing a "BCRview" for Windows....so far haven't found the midi spec necessary to understake such an effort. Any ideas where I can find the info? cheers.
