Can someone confirm how to start the BCR in MC_C mode?

I turned my BCR off and then while holding the button but just the version flashes up (v1.10) and then goes to the preset number? What am I doing wrong other than being very dim. :?

Thanks

djsynchro you rock!! i printed your template and it's on my BCF now :) Emulationmode is much much much better than i thought, i used it for a while, but only for track volume. But the fact that you can controll all the devices is briljant, especially with the FLIP method :D

DJsynchro - God bless you for this enlightenment!!

My BCF is a million times more useful now... just printing out your template now... I was halfway through this thread, hopping between Live and your instructions, and I was thinking, right, must make up some kind of tempate... how happy I was to see you went to the trouble of uploading one for us...

Excellent stuff =)

The only problem at all I've found with this...

The rotary encoders move through the most paramter values SOOOO SLOOOOW!!! I know this means you can adjust with greater precision, but for tweaking, say, a filter cutoff, or oscillator tune... its too slow!!

If there was a way of fixing this, it would be perfect, if not.. its not great at all.

anyone?

you need to manually edit the sysex preset file in a hex editor to do it. If you know what I just wrote and are up for it, I'll gladly talk you through it.

Ok, having a bit of trouble with this..

when i get to step 4,the channel select button- nothing happens!

If i move the faders or select a channel in ableton, that is reflected on the BCF2000 but pressing things on the BCF does nothing..

BCFview shows
1audio 2audio
C C

any ideas?

thanks!

Press "Flip" now the rotaries and encoders will swap function, grab the fader and do your tweak, then press "flip" again. Once you get used to doing this it's really good.

This is absolutely brilliant! nice one! :)

one question though:

if you're on an audio channel, and you have a couple effects, I understand how to control the parameters, but does anyone know how to toggle the effect (entirely) on and off??

Cheers

It's only available for external VST as the first control.

Hey that looks different from what i found... wil need to investigate... I never got "undo" to work for example. By the way if you select "Mackie classic" mode in preferences pushing the first encoder switcheds the effect on/off they changed it because you lose a knob that way. (Who wants to loose a kno eh?)

Well that's interesting, there are some functions there that i didn't find, looks like I'll have to make a new template next week. Please stand by.
