Yes that's a very good point. And it is certainly a good way to look at music making. BUT. And there is always that damn BUT. Professionaly you very often have to meet certain expectations that are not always atainable with a creatively minimalist approach. I think it's a good approch but I'm pro-choice. I don't like to be put on a diet against my will.

It is really funny to read other people interpret your own words

However, the most important words of the above statement are "when" and "how".

We also never said "it will not come" nor we said "it is there now".
So again, it is on our list, it is getting high priority but I cannot yet say in which way and in which version of Live we will be able to address this.

Hi Alex,
Well fair enough then. First, I'll say up front that I know nada about programming. But still, would it be possible then to give us the opportunity to export all audio tracks at once so we can mix in another program? I guess that everyone will agree that rendering 32 or more audio tracks one at a time is tiendous or at least very unproductive. I LOVE to write and arrange ideas in Live that's unquestionable. But I HATE mixing the results in Live for it just won't give us enough CPU power to do it like I want to do it. I'll admit that opinions and philosophy can vary on this issue but that doesn't solve the problem that many of us have. Maybe there's a work around or some trick I am not aware of to export all audio on separte files at once (if anyone does PLEASE don't be shy).

here's MY question. seeing as everyone says ableton is such a cpu hog, does anyone know of another program that can do live multitracking any better? seriously, i want to know.
