12 Trial vs 'Full Version'

Post by jbsongs42 » Mon May 06, 2024 12:45 pm

Hi Folks

I mixed a song using my free trial of Ableton 12. I was very happy with the mix but when I exported the track for some reason it was 20 minutes (songs only 3:45). I loaded it up on my new version of 12 which I've paid for. I'm getting a message saying: "This set contains features that are limited or unavailable in Ableton Live 12 Intro

- Echo
- Overdrive
- Pedal

Because of this I cant export the track. I think its something to do with some effects I put on the vocals, I've stripped them away to just the 'plain' vocals - but now I cant save the track! Am I going to have to re-mix this all over again? Very frustrating

The trial is the Suite version, which has everything. And your licence is the Intro version that has a subset of the devices/instruments/etc from Suite.

There is a comparison chart on the Ableton website that lists all of the differences
