Is there a way to crossfade or "morph" between multisamples in sampler using for instance the slide MPE parameter?
Like playing a long note and crossfading through different samples, not retriggering them as in sample selector or with velocity layers.
THANKS!
Using MPE Slide control to crossfade between multisampled layers in Sampler?
Re: Using MPE Slide control to crossfade between multisampled layers in Sampler?
No, unfortunately.
You could put each sample in its own Sampler/Simpler instance and rack these instances. You'd then use the Instrument Rack's chain selector (with fades) or each chain's volume and map them using Expression Control... the problem is that this can only be monophonic.
So the best you can do to preserve polyphony while controlling the crossfade is to control the chain selector with something like a modwheel or a knob/fader.

Ah that’s a pity…..But I will give the chain selector method a try, Thanks!
Looking for third party MPE supported samplers that can do this, but no success….
