simple answer : previous version don't matter, thrash all previous installs of live and use the lates stable one, and stop talking about pre-installs, there is no way to get pre-installed software without buying a new computer. If you mean previous installs of live, old versions, thats not the same thing.

OLD VERSION DELETE USE VERSION THAT WORK ON COMPUTER LATEST VERSION USUALLY MOST FEATURES . . .

I still hope you're joking tho. sorry if I couldn't be of assistance.

you mean have them open at the same time? thats easy, just install both, and they wont overwrite eachother. dont worry about it. now i know what you're talking about:

you want to have two versions of Live on your computer at the same time.

oh and by the way, is english your first language?

its not very nice to steal someones soul when they are trying to write out a problem .

if u cant understand this then there is no hop for mankind

live---------unsinstalled-----opeartor installed----live 4 preinstalled-----overinstalled with network -----www.ableton.com-------presinstall live 5-----degraded perfermance=angry face

when nothing happens i reboot and my windows go green. It could be a network problem but my mum works fine. I may have to sleep on this and update in the morning when i am thinking a little less clearly
