MP3 Compatibility is Nice but AACs (M4A) Are the Future

The Live5 beta rocks ~ I can't stop smiling...really! I have many MP3s, but I'm encoding everything in the M4A format (AAC in the MP4 container...renamed to M4A for iPod / NI Traktor Compatibility) from now on out. It would be great if Live supported M4As as well as MP3s.

given the already-impressive list of supported codecs, I'm sure AAC is on their to-do list. I've found that it's a little bit more complex (in terms of CPU time) to decode than MP3, so there may be an associated CPU hit if/when they do add support...
