I love watching UFC fights.

It's brutal and something I'm not really proud of.

After many years of not doing much regular exercise, I am now on day 4 of the 60 day Insanity workout DVDs. The shit is no joke and I can only make it through about 20 minutes of the 40 minute sessions, but I figure since I’m out of practice, I’m sweating like a pig, and am sore as fuck, I am accomplishing something. Not to mention every session starts with “Consult a physician before attempting this”. All I consulted with was my inner 20-year-old (20 years my junior) who said go for it.

Brave admission because does anybody want to admit they are doing something that is widely seen on infomercials? Got stellar reviews on amazon though, so fuck it.

I did almost one full round of P90X, but eventually got sick of it taking up so much of my time. Brutally hard at first, but it does get easier (sort of).

What do you mean by taking up so much of your time?

I looked into it but from what I can recall it involves weights and other equipment that I don’t really want to invest in. I already have enough crap littering up my apartment.

Most of the workouts are 1-1.5 hours a day, 6 days a week. I already have dumbells and things here, so I didn't need to buy anything myself.

Gotcha. The Insanity sessions don't go over 45 minutes and some are only 30, and you don't need any wights or equipment. I figure if the US Special Forces workout without any equipment or weights then there's no reason I need to either.

Really I just need the guidance because the times I went to the gym I didn't know what the fuck I was doing other than trying to not look or act like a douche.

I've read the first 4 Harry Potter books.

1-3 whlist suffering from appendicitis
No. 4 when I spent a month mostly stoned on a beach in Thailand.

Watching the films is acceptable. Have lower standards for that.
