recently had a dj buddy suggest we get together and do a remix competition for shits and giggles,
so we took an evening and got in the mode.
the original track was just the ambient keyboard sounds, so
we added drums, turntables, bass guitar and did 3 passes of live dub mixing.
ableton is at the heart of the production, of course (although i only sum through an analog desk, then right back into live for capture).
this has not been mastered.
turns out we won the competition, and will be featured in a blog about music and featuring a few artists ourselves on friday, march 4th:
