Crossfeed for headphones (HRTF)?

Post by håkan bråkan » Mon Sep 20, 2010 7:38 pm

I want to have something like this http://www.holographicaudio.com/ear_one.html but in software. I've seen some plugins, but only redline monitor that works for os x, and then I thought of making it in maxforlive instead. However, before starting from scratch, maybe someone already have done this in m4l or in max/msp? It would be cool to be able to import headphone measurements, and compensate for hearing loss etc.

cheers

Sorry, it's swedish. It's a headphone amplifier with an x-feed switch. With x-feed enabled the left channel mixes into the right channel and vice versa according to the "head related transfer function" (HRTF), which simulates the sound of a pair of speakers at a certain distance.
