When I load kicks, snares, hihats, etc... in Impulse and save the session, when I re-open the set some are missing. It also overloads the disk drive sometimes.
When I try to re-drag the hits into Impulse because the MIDI info. is there, I can't get any sound out.
What is the process for loading drum hits into Impulse and then saving them for future use in that session and others???
Thanks!

either don't move your samples around or... "save as self contained set". No idea about the 'disk drive overload' though... maybe your computer is bugging out.

nah, i had too many long samples and didn't give them time to load. and i was loading samples from hd & external firewire drive. plus i wasn't saving my presets in impulse.
sucks that your HD crashed holmes. i'm rocking a powerbook g4 (shit is pretty rock solid, knock on wood)
i talked to my friend who works for m-audio/ableton, he helped me out.
thanks anyway though.
