Hello,
I cannot get Live 4.04 to run as a rewire slave with my PTle 6.4 (Digi 002)
It worked with my Live 3.0...
I start PT first, then Live, but it doesn't establish the rewire connection (although it detects a Rewire master application). It won't give me any busses into my PT.... it seems to only see the Mac's sound output and not the Digi 002.
Are there any settings I am forgetting ?
has anybody encoutered that problem?/ a suggestion to make this work, or is the problem with Live ?
thanks
fuz

Hello Fuz,
could you check the following:
in /Library/ApplicationSupport and in ~/Library/ApplicationSupport
(where ~ is your home-directory) there should be files called
'Ableton Live Engine'. If you inspect these file (apple-i) in the Finder,
you should see:
Kind: alias
...
Original: <your live installation>:Live:Contents:Resources:Ableton Live Engine
where <your live installation> should be the path to the version of Live
your are using.
If these aliases point to something else, try deleting them, start Live
in stand-alone mode (it should say 'ReWire Engine installed' on the
splash screen), quit Live, start PT, start Live.
If the problem persists despite the aliases being correct or if Live
does not set them correctly, please email me the log-file.
(~/Library/Preferences/Ableton/Live 4.0.4/Log.txt)
Kind regards,
Friedemann
