multiple midi outputs from an instrument within Live

I do not know if this lack of support is on purpose, but more than leading me to work exclusively inside Live is making me after years of using Live think about searching for another host.

Maschine is able to control different instruments from within a DAW by sending midi out over mutiple channels. But Ableton won't allow it to, because you can only opt for an input channel to receive all the midi out from a instrument, rather than individual channels.

WOW, I thought it was a problem with maschine, not live????

Any idea to wher I could find a midi channel filter plugin for mac os X, as a workaround to this PAINFUL PROBLEM????

(Id like to sequence my multiple hardware synths and softsynths in live from mashine's sequencer....)

This is making using Maschine quite frustrating as I want to sequence external synths with it, currently can only do this properly in standalone mode.
