Thinking of getting a Launchpad but running Live 7

Post by Nav » Mon Jan 25, 2010 10:06 pm

will it work?

I can't really afford v 8 yet and don't really want to use the cut down version that comes with the launchpad.

Am I better off investing in the upgrade first?

It will TOTALLY work! Get 2 LP's while you're at it.

I use the Launchpad with 7, it works perfect, you'll have to get the latest version of 7 with lunchpad support.

the Launch Pad is $200.

a Live 8 upgrade is less than $150.

he can't afford Live 8 but he can afford a Launch Pad?

yup I am choosing where to invest my money. In the software upgrade or the hardware. Although I may wait until I save up some cash and get both naturally. Trying to penny pinch at the moment and use what I have.

The guy writes about wanting to buy a controller and whether it works or not with Live 7. He comes out and admits he doesn't have money for an upgrade and you berate him over it?

wow, whos' the prick? you've done nothing but throw personal attacks at me.

it's a simple logical question, it does sound like a possible crack user, I thought it was funny.

OK, I removed the comment but the idea of this guy being a crackhead never even crossed my mind. I use Live 7. If someone doesn't immediately upgrade and asks if an older version of their software is supported automatically make you think they are a crackhead? That's wild man.

Frankly that's insulting, if you look back I've been a user of this forum for years!

I've supported this software since version 1. If I were a crack user wouldn't I just get a cracked version of version 8?

Pretty dumb assumption.

I can't afford hardware or software right now. I plan on saving for something and am asking so I make the right choice when I spend my money.

Your assumption is completely unfounded, would you like me to show you a photo of my boxed copy?

In-fact why don't you report me to Ableton where they can check my forum email address against the registered address for my license key.

You really should be banned from this forum. You accomplish nothing and exist solely to get under peoples skin.

How was what you said a "question?" You legitamatly accused this guy of using a cracked version of the software he paid for.

thelike5 - you've done nothing but troll me and write personal attacks on me since you started posting yesterday. if anyone should be banned, you're the one being an asshole.

Do you forget what you write that quickly? Do you have special needs? That would explain the post count.
